The Royal Botanic Gardens, has so many amazing trees to study, to find out what trees you like and its a gorgeous walk around, to get fresh air into your lungs.... Its definately a great scenic walk... brilliant manicured gardens and lawns.... great for a picnic....
Beauitful place to visit whether you're a tourist wanting an adventure in the city or if you're a local wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre for a picnic or some exercise

The Children's Garden is great. Lots of water play and fun nature areas for the kids to explore. Better in summer as the kids get wet. Come with bathers for them or gumboots! And it is free. The cafe near by is good for the parents too! Grab a coffee on teh way to the Children's Garden.
