- Grumpy19Dedham, UK56 contributionsLovely place to walk and admire the views and fauna. A must on a visit to Melbourne. Terrace restaurant is worth a visit and the visitor centre staff are really helpful.Written 8 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alice G7 contributionsA fantastic experience! We visited the MCG and toured the ground with our excellent guide Graeme. Graeme was helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic about the MCG and found we learnt a lot about the grounds history. The ticket was reasonably priced with entry to the sports museum included which was great for young children. We fully enjoyed our time at the MCGWritten 17 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- asmyredbudBrisbane Region, Australia2 contributionsThe perfect way to explore Melbourne and its many interesting places. A frequent service although slightly overcrowded and noisy, difficult to hear the commentary at times.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - smiler1956Birmingham, UK519 contributionsVisited with my wife on the way to the Botanic Gardens. Very imposing building remembering the people who gave their lives over two world wars. Although we didn't take a tour, just wandering around the outside and viewing the eternal flame was an amazing reminder of how terrible war is.Written 1 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - helenandrew2017Melbourne, Australia2 contributionsFantastic tour guide and amazing tastings. We had a wonderful morning walking around the busy Queen Vic Market in fabulous Melbourne - a City we live in and love! Thanks Irene and thanks QVM for a great experience. - smiler1956Birmingham, UK519 contributionsVisited with my wife. This is a vast gallery with a mass of exhibitions cataloguing Australian art through the ages. - julesten2016Melbourne, Australia2,650 contributionsWe were given a "Cocktail in the clouds" package which also included the voyager theatre experience.
Sitting in our plush red "egg shell" pod chairs we settled in for out 15 minute journey through 16 iconic Melbourne locations.
Awesome experience and we were advised to do this event first before enjoying our cocktails which was taken onboard & thank goodness.
We enjoyed our cocktails at Bar 88 whilst admiring the scenery of Melbourne city and beyond.
The time you spend at the highest observation deck in the southern hemisphere is initially dependent on your own itinerary. The weather gods were on our side so we were in no hurry to leave. ( also it was not crowded)
We enjoyed the 360 degree views of our city and would recommend this experience.Written 15 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Beautiful arcade with many gift shops and specialist stores, as well as some wonderful eateries. The décor is fantastic.Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- natclayQuinns Rocks, Australia194 contributionsWe enjoyed the hour spent at this exhibition. It is well designed and provides a glimpse into the history of the ship and the lives of the people on this tragic voyage. We booked a 10.30 tour, and as previously mentioned by others it was too busy. I would recommend trying an early morning or late afternoon timeslot to see if this makes a difference to the number of people. It was difficult to read/view every item properly, but we still enjoyed our visit.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stacey ODallas, TX18 contributionsMelbourne Zoo is one of the nicest we’ve ever visited. It’s clean and well thought out. The animals appeared to be very well cared for and their habitats designed so they can be out if/when they choose. Unfortunately, the platypus wasn’t up for visitors the day we visited so we left Australia without ever getting to see one. 😭Written 10 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
