If you're staying in the CBD, the adventure begins by taking the short ferry crossing from the Barrack Street jetty. I am not usually a fan of zoos but our family really enjoyed the perth zoo. Wonderful to see koalas, kangaroos, tasmanian devils, numbats. The enclosures are well done and the open areas are spacious and give you an opportunity to get close to the animals. Wednesdays are half price for adults. more

We made Perth zoo our fist stop on our Aussie adventure and we loved it. this zoo is great. it is easy to get around, great parks, great to walk around as the exibits are not to far away and its flat so its not to hard. great for children and i honestly love to go there, i went there recently and had great fun! more

My brother took me here for a birthday present and even though we are two 30something adults lol, i think you are never too old to enjoy a well kept zoo! I came here a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I managed to get a bit lost on the way there I think I got the wrong bus so by the time I got there it wasn't open for long. I still really enjoyed seeing the koalas and walking amongst the kangaroos. Its a lovely setting too with lovely... more
