We stayed here for 4 nights. After booking the Indian Ocean Hotel we discovered how run down and rough it was. The pool is in the middle of the beer garden of the pub which is one of the worst and the language from both staff and patrons was absolutely disgusting. Definately not for families. Great fun on the beach, plenty of sun and the waves. Check out my beach photos under the "Perth" review. After the beach we went to Cafe del Pescatore on the Esplanade and had some of the best local seafood with WA wines! more
It is the perfect place for seaside holiday with the proximity of the city.
