It had been many years since I last visited Rainbows End so I was unsure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. We visited with our children aged 8 and 5 and there was so much for them to do. It's not Disneyland, but younger kids love it and as NZ's only theme park, older Kiwi kids think it's pretty cool too! Rainbow's End is not the largest theme park in the world; for UK travellers I would compare it to a slightly smaller Chessington. It has all the essential theme park ingredients including adult and kiddy coasters, log flume, dodgems, cars, tower fall, a motion sim and bumper boats, packed into a fairly small area.
