Feel like a walk? Catch a public bus to One Tree Hill, then walk your way to the top, enjoying lush green parklands, and lots of sheep! It took me about 15-20 minutes to walk up winding roads, to be rewarded with stunning 360 degree views over Auckland at sunset. And there are more sheep all over the parklands than... more
Dont go expecting to see the tree - it was vandalised and had to be cut down. You can drive or walk up the hill, although parking was a bit tight at the top! Much better to walk up and enjoy the view - but only if you're fit!!!! Worth it for the view and who can go to Auckland... more
