This is a great place to sample and get informed about Hawks Bay vineyards and wines with the least amount of effort and expense.

The architecture and building history alone make it worth a visit. With the two year old in tow we couldn't do justice to the wine tasting which I felt was a little overpriced anyway (c $35 pp).

Stopped in to get a bottle to sip by the spa in our hotel and was given a great recommendation...ended up going to the winery and enjoying another bottle...very friendly and informative staff in a beautiful art deco building

This comprised an aroma testing experience and an interesting talk, tasting and video. The staff member who hosted the visit was informative and friendly.

This was a good experience, helpful and knowledgeable staff. It was a real test of the nose to distinguish the various odours associated with describing wine. The quality of the tasting options was excellent to. Well worth a visit.

You can book a tasting of whites or reds where they play a video of the winemakers explaining the wines.
