The Museum is having a million dollar upgrade so is closed for several more months. After that is should be even better than before. One of the most popular visits is the film on the devastating 1931 earthquake that demolish Napier. The city has been rebuilt - beautifully.

Now to be fair and accurate, I didn't visit the museum on this trip as it is closed for some major extension work; however, I've been on three previous trips to the region and it is a great museum, full of information about the region and the 1931 earthquake that devestated Napier leading the the Art Deco rebuild for which...
