Very nice scene on a fine day (which is often in Hawkes Bay). walking, biking, skating paths are great

If you are visiting Napier, stay in one of the numerous accommodations along Marine Parade. I can especially recommend the Pebble Beach Motor Inn, across from the Aquarium. Marine Parade also has several outstanding restaurants. If you are a gourmet and like a locally sourced tasting menu, go to Pacifica.

Great new pathway beside the Norfolk Pines and beach. You can walk, bike, skateboard, or use a wheelchair as we did. Plenty of carparks if you want to use the car for assistance. Watch out for cyclists as the path is shared. Very popular with families, groups, and couples. And not far to go for a coffee afterwards.

The council do a fantastic job here - great gardens and care abound. Take a walk and see, as you will enjoy.

These pools are great and open till about 10pm, you can watch the sun go down over the sea and its a great place to relax and chill out. They are great value for money and you can use the steam room and the sauna free of chrage. there were a lot of kids around and it was quite noisy... More

Enormous potential, some great features, but un-developed and a central closed Marineland is just a big black mark
