Couldn't fault the running of the shop -kitting out was quick and efficient. We had no problems helping load gear or launching the boat.Luch was lovely in the sun on the beach.Rainbow Warrior didn't disappoint. Would have loved to have done both dives on the wreck, one to look at the lower parts of the boat and the second to... More

Before offering this critique, I should point out that I am a PADI instructor with over 1,000 dives logged in Australia, NZ, Thailand, Vietnam, and PNG. The day started with a case of "hurry up and wait", we were at the store and had completed payment and paperwork well before the appointed time of 7:45. We had hoped to get... More

Hi Simon, Thanks for taking the time to review your trip to the Rainbow Warrior. I Apologise on behalf of my team for the sub-standard trip that you felt had that day.We are normally better than that. You should have been given time in the morning to get some breakfast. I am unsure as to why the trip departed at... More

We enjoyed our dives and trips with Pahia Dive. The company owner took us on our dives while in Russell and he was quite entertaining on our trip out. It was nice that the company would let you go off on your own if they were comfortable with your ability. That seems to be a rarity at dive companies these... More

A big THANK YOU to Craig for introducing me to diving in Paihia and discovering an amazing wreck at 28 mts. He was a fantastic support and really helped me to overcome my concerns of diving with all the equipment needed to dive in the cold waters of NZ. They are a very professional & trained team and we had... More

I did my PADI open water course with Paihia Dive after a bad experience in Australia with another dive company. The guys at Paihia made me feel instantly comfortable, reassuring me whilst also explaining that there may be some challenges for me to overcome. I had Steve as my instructor, a very knowledgable guy that made the course really fun... More

In Feb and March of 2011 my son and I went from first dive to seven certifications and 30+ dives all with Paihia Dive. The owner and staff are incredibly personable and professional. They truly love and respect the sport and pass it and their vast experiences on to their customers in a serious but fun way. Our skill improvement... More

I took my open water course with one of the instructors from Paihia Dive last year, having only dived once before (in Fiji). It was an incredible experience and I have returned to dive with the company a couple of times since then. As quite a nervous swimmer I felt completely at ease with the instruction and no question was... More

Careless with beginners. I was an Open water Paddi. To dive on the Rainbow Warrior wreck which is at 26m , they asked me to pay 100$ more so that I would do the first part of my Advanced course for deep dive. In fact, this course is just the reading on our own of the chapter about deep dive... More

.Hi, Thank you for your review, It's good to get feedback, good or bad! Just to clear up a few points that you have made. The cost to do a Deep Adventure Dive above the normal trip is $50.00, with this you get the training for the deep dive from the advanced course on the wreck of the Rainbow Warrior.... More
