Wai Ora is a nice hotel with helpful, friendly staff. They handled bookings for several activities for us and generally were just interesting people who we enjoyed talking to, when given the chance. Had a nice weekend in rotorua the hotel and spa didn't live up to my expectations and hopes Staff very nice but standoffish Breakfast poor choice lovely presentation of food but not tasty Dinner ok but again not great Spa facilities nice one pool cold and a spa pool not working so again disappointing

Away from town so peaceful. Great staff a wonderful Restaurant and can highly recommend the spa. Great place to stay.

Had a private thermal pool which overlooked lake rotorua. Complete relaxation in beautiful surroundings. Lovely shower as well and plenty of changing area for 3 of us. Nice and clean too. Cafe area after was nice and reasonably priced and lots of nice manuka honey cosmetics on sale.

My grandmother passed away unexpectedly during our new Zealand family trip so we called to cancel with 24 hr notice but they still charged us $365 NZ for one night. $365 is not a lot of money for a large company, but certainly is a lot for a family. That's $365 that could have gone towards my grandmother's funeral services.... More

We only went for dinner but it was a really lovely meal. Try the taster menu - 3 dishes for NZ$66 which is plenty for two people.

I cant wait to go back to Wai Ora. The resort accomodation is very modern and clean and you can really see why they won all the awards, when you dine at the restaurant. The food was amazing ! Such an experience. The staff in the spa and resort are very friendly and the spa facilities are very resonable priced.
