Excellent bikes great routes fantastic guide great value for money

This was our first time mountain biking. We have riding thousands of miles on road bikes, but never on a mountain bike and we had a ball. Our guide was great, helpful and patient. The coffee and muffins afterwards was and added bonus.

These guys are the best! Friendly, helpful, and an easy pleasure to do business with. They gave great trail recommendations so that both my wife (a newb rider) and I had a blast. Bikes were well set-up and the forest is right by the shop.

We did the "Ball & Chain" and the "Creek Track" and had a ball. Both trails were grade 1 mostly flat riding through some beautiful forests. We had holiday to Rotorua in Dec/Jan 12 purely for the mountain bike park. Planet bike helped us out no end and nothing was too hard. They are friendly, so likeable we would highly recommend their services to anyone. Good value for money and a great adventure for novices and those with experience. Planet Bike fitted us with bikes and gear, and a wonderful guide (Dave). He maintainted a good pace, managed our large group according to skill levels and provided us with the right level of challenges.
