The park was nice - springs full of trout, farm animals and the lions. We didn't have to wait at all to pat the lion cubs, but it wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. The coolest animals there were actually the wallabies, very lovely mild animals. The water bottling machine was quite interesting too but other that... More

Visited paradise valley at approximately 12noon anticipating the lion feeding session with the Mrs and it so happened to be one of the best times for visit. The place was serene, calm and beautiful. We even got to pat the cubs twice - once at 1 and then after the kea and possum feeding. The lion feeding session was good... More

Had a lovely couple of hours here, saw the lions being fed which was great. The park is very well kept, and would highly recommend to anyone.

step into a brilliant wildlife surroundings of trout springs and native bush trails. lots of animals to see and of course cuddle the tiny lion cubs. They also have a huge lion enclosure to go to and watch them being fed 2pm daily. Well worth the entry fee of $30.

We went mid-week so it was very quiet, didn't see any one else the whole time! Got to spend a lot of time with the baby lions, which was amazing. The park is well laid out, and you can feed the trouts, goats, wallabies etc which is always fun. Highly recommended!

Great setting and unique opportunity to get a photo with a Lion cub. Nice bush setting with native birds like Kea.

My wife is into wild animals and likes nothing better then close contact. We got that spending time with the lion cubs, the whole experience was great and unhurried. We got there early and there was quite a queue when we left the compound, would advise getting there as early as possible. The rest of the park was well laid... More

Recommend you buy the animal food pellets when you buy your tickets as feeding the animals makes the experience a lot better - especially for kids! Try to time your visit to see the animal feedings and lion cub petting (if there are cubs. Though our "cub" looked like a large teenager!) Nice place to visit - especially with kids,... More

We were fortunate enough that at the time we were able to see and pat lion cubs that were two months old. Soooo cute. The kids enjoyed seeing the lions being fed. I did however find it a little bit pricey for the amount to do there but was a memorable experience all the same.
