Fantastic day. Very informative, but not down your throat. Go on the guided tour. I'm not into cultural shows but the war dance and dancing was very serious (i.e they were proud of what they were doing) but of course fun. Gyser and hot springs are well worth the visit. We visited Te Puia whilst in Rotorua. It was a brilliant afternoon and evening. It is a cultural centre for the Maoris and has good facilities and excellent helpful staff.
