The basic organisation at The Mitai is poor. The Master of Ceremonies was poor and was rude to some of the guests. The Hangi was only average. The show however was excellent ! More a tourist trap than a Maori experience !

My son and I had a dinner and performance at Mitae. I chose it because it is family owned and run. Seeing the guys in the canoe coming down the stream was an amazing experience. Lovely hangi dinner, great MC and plenty to see. Very intense haka at the end of the performance.
