I loved that you could go inside the caravan to look at all the retro stuff - well thought out.

So interesting and rich in history, I could have stayed here all day! The gardens, kids corner, the demonstrations and information - I walked out of here learning so much about New Zealand that I didn't know, and only $5. Immaculatly kept, lovely friendly staff. Would definately recommend checking this museum out!

Lovely to wander round and see all the history. Makes you understand more about Lake Taupo and its beginnings and history

Well its $5 to get in for adults and I really didnt think it was that great at all.

Great service, great people and just an awesome museum to visit

i found this was prefect to kill some time on a rainy day, close to Lake, information centre and lots to learn.

We were pleasantly surprised on our visit to Taupo Museum. The display on early logging in the area was particurlarly well done. Overall an excellent little museum.
