We intended this to be a quick stop on our way from Napier to Wellington and ended up staying almost 3 hours, mostly in the rain. The highlights included the 1:30 feeding of the eels and the 3:30 feeding of the kakas at which you can get some great photos. The plants were also well marked. The Centre also has... more
