Providing it is nice weather this is an excellent place to go for a walk along the waterfront or along the parade and go and get a gellato ice cream, or sit down in a funky cafe. If you are more daring you could hire rollerblades which is lots of fun!

This is such a lovely place; sand, sea, cafe's and a lovely walk around to Evans Bay or Te Papa if you are in the mood for good scenic excercise!

Lovely spot for a nice leisurely walk. Stop for an ice cream at the Dairy, or a coffee along the way.

I loved the tour around this beautiful bay with its rich history and the combination of the old and the new style of architecture. After going to the Weta Cave we got off the bus and walked around the waterfront back to the city. Some great views including a swithback street which leave the famous one in San Francisco for dust. Oriental Bay is where there are lots of people on sunny days out enjoying the scenery - it is nice to walk with a gelato or coffee from Cafe Eis and just look at the harbour. A beach in the city? Well yeah, and its awesome! So much activity and yet so much enjoyment. Love it.

Always a great place to get your tan on during the summer, bring a book and relax and read or just go for a dip and a swim.
