We really enjoyed our visit to Dunedin in March 2011. Our tour guide, Ray from Indigenous Trails, was very knowledgeable about Dunedin and also about the south island. He was waiting for us when we got off the ship at 8:00am and took us immediately to the railway station and Larnach Castle so that we beat the cruise ship crowds....

There were four of us, two couples, who took this tour and expected to receive the tour advertised on the web; this did not occur. We were told that the tour would be from 9 am to 3:30 or 4 pm. This was not the case unless you wanted to spend the afternoon shopping on your own in Christchurch. Other...
