The Botanical Gardens are beautiful. You will loose track of time, wandering through or picking a place to sit down an relax. You will forget that you are in the heart of the second largest city in New Zealand

Great place to spend some time. Wander and enjoy the native and exotic vegetation, feed the ducks, and just enjoy Christchurch.

Fantastic gardens and well maintained but council needs to keep these areas watered even though we are in drought conditions these are one of the few beauties that we have left in Christchurch at the monent

Great place to take the kids for the day -excellent playground and ok facilities. Well maintained and gorgeous all through the year. Don't bother eating at the cafe by the playground the food is poor and you wait a LONG time for it -take a picnic instead!
