Hagley Park is huge and a lovely place to visit for a walk or picnic. Considering how much devastation the Christchurch area has gone through over the last 18 months, Hagley Park remains in tact and as pretty as ever.
We took our daughter to the park and I must say that it has a very good playground area for the children. They day was beautiful and if you want ice cream, you can do so at the nearby restaurant.

Hagley park is ever changing with the seasons....play amongest the fallen leaves, watch the punters on the avon, or just wonder. Dont change this lovely green part of the city

If you go on a nice sunny morning it is the nicest place around
Untouched by earthquakes. Most of christchurch's events are now held here. A great space.
