Professional and knowledgeable guides who love their job. And we love the places they brought us to, we went to see the yellow eyed penguins, furseals at a very beautiful place, where sheeps roam freely on the high grasslands. Black swans were spotted on the way to royal albatross centre. We opt for royal albatross package inclusive in the tour, and no... more

If you have any interest in wildlife and are in the Dunedin area, I would highly recommend this tour. The wildlife was stunning with close up views of many penguins, seals and sealions. Sprinkle in a few albatross for good measure and this is an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Our guide was... more

This has to be one of the most unique things we did on our trip around the South Island. To get so close to penguins and sealions was just amazing. Just do it. more

The tour is definitely for those interested in wildlife and interested in the way New Zealand use to be. We saw all that was advertized, and I was impressed. Stellar Sea Lions, Fur Seals, Penguins, Albatrosses, Owls, and others added to the day. Fitness is definitely required, but rewarded. Definitely recommended. more

Our Private Elm Wildlife Tour with Brian Templeton (March 6, 200*) was our last excursion and it was probably the best experience of our trip. We were fortunate to have Brian as our driver and guide for more than 6.5 hours of wildlife wonders. He founded the company about 17 years ago and has a deep commitment to conserving the... more

Elm Wildlife Tours provided us with one of the best experiences on our trip to New Zealand! Sheep, albatross, fur seals, sea lions and yellow eyes penguins all in their natural environments. This tour is truly tough to beat! We were even able to see how fast those sea lions really can run! thanks Warren for a truly unforgettable experience! more

We went on their 'Cruise Ship' tour and it was absolutly excellent. We got to see Albatross, Sea Lions, Seals and Penguins, all in their natural setting and mostly far away from crowds of tourists. There were just four of us and the guide, and it was great. My only complaint was they could have been more helpfull in our... more

Our Elm WIldlife Tour was one of the highlights of Dunedin. They will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off there after the trip, which is very nice if you are not used to driving on the left side of the road. Once they pick everyone up in either a passenger van or a small touring bus... more

This was the high point of our 3-week trip in New Zealand! This group has access through private farms to a beach on which sea lions congregate (and bark at you) and rare yellow-eyed penguins come out of the ocean to perch on the hillside, eventually making their way up the hills, past the sheep, to their nesting area. Also... more

Despite cool, windy weather, this was a great experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife. She pointed out numerous birds on the way to the albatross center. At the albatross center, we were fortunate to see a chick as well as many albatross flying. The next stop was the beach where we saw a large number of male... more
