Having read reviews beforehand we chose Mitre Peak over larger vessels and were delighted we did. The experience was much nicer on a smaller boat and we went further out into the sound. Really enjoyed our cruise at Milford Sound with Mitre Peak Cruises. Endless tea, coffee and hot chocolates during the cruise. The staff were friendly. We saw seals, dolphins and penguins. This was a highlight of our trip and something that I had wanted to do for years. more

Drove to Milford Sound from Te Anau and caught the 9.55a.m. sailing with Mitre Peak Cruises.
