wonderful scenery, lovely drive, and boat trip is a must to appreciate the beauty of the Milford Sound

I was in awe of this place!! Beautiful waterfalls especially the misty and rainbow ones. The lolling hills and snowcap mountains..the clear water...almost like a dream

Prettiest route traveled in NZ, although it was raining at Milford Sound, the route taking us there was very pretty and we visited almost all of the attractions along the way, allow 3-4 hours for a relaxed trip to Milford Sound

Stayed in NZ for 8 years now and only been here once. The views and scenery are just WOW but you do need a whole day if you taking a tour and a couple of days if you do it on your own. Worth a visit.
