This museum is very well kept, full of history for autos and motorcycles. A must see for any race enthusiast who makes it to Bathurst. The ladies who were working were also very helpful and informative!
The museum is only a couple of minutes walk from Rydges Bathurst and even for a non-racing enthusiast like us we found it very interesting. Plenty of bikes, cars, memorabillia and some great DVDS constantly running past races.
If you like cars and motor bikes.....then visit this place.
I am not a huge motor racing fan, but do enjoy watching from time to time. This museum had plenty of cars, and plenty of race footage both old and recent, which was interesting. Most of the exhibits included a brief on their history.
As with all museums, there was a shop, some basic cold take away food and facilities...

The museum is not huge but has some of the most iconic motor vehicles in Australia's motor sport history. Of course there is much of the museum dedicated to Peter Brock.
This is a compact yet engaging museum at Mount Panorama, adjacent to the car racing circuit.
The admission price is modest (AUD $ 9), and well worthwhile.
There is a good display of cars and motorbikes which raced at Mount Panorama.
