I was there as part of a wine tour while attending a friends wedding in the Hunter Valley. After having visited about 2 winery's in the morning I felt like a beer so bought one from Robyn Drayton, I was then told I would not be allowed to taste any wine as I wouldn't buy any and it would cost...

This cellar door is worth finding. It has some incredible memorabilia of the Drayton family. It also has some beautiful jewellery that is very reasonable priced (there were a number of necklace and earring sets for $25). Definitely take the time to try to the fortified wines.
