I travelled with Tasmanian Expeditions on the Tarkine and North West Coast trip in December 2011 and was extremely impressed with the professionalism & enthusiasm that the guides showed in all aspects of the tour. The food and accommodation was excellent and the beauty of this region of Tasmania was maximised by the itinerary which was well organised and gave... More

Tasmanian Expediations is an excellent way to see Tassie. You get very looked after. They worry about how to get there, park fees , guidance and provide fantatic food. It means you can cover more ground as you can sleep in the mini bus and then get out and walk. I have done 3 trips with Tas Ex now and... More

We had a wonderful time. Probably better than I was expecting, not having done that type of trip before. The weather was superb which no doubt helped. Everything was so well organised. I spend my working life organising people and children and it was so nice to sit back and have everything organised for me. Food was delicious too. So... More

Just wanted to say that my second trip with Tas Ex, this time the Overland Track, was absolutely fantastic! The trip was extremely well organised and the equipment provided was excellent. Both Ash and Dan were fantastic guides - competent and friendly, full of interesting conversation and very good at managing/supporting our group. I am particularly grateful for the way... More

This was by far the most exceptional organized tour I have ever participated in. I will start this review by jumping to the bottom line – this is one of the best ways to fully experience the beauty of Tasmanian wilderness up-close and not from a tourist's bus, while letting someone else worry about logistics, safety and even cooking. It... More

Doing the South Coast trek was something both of us had wanted to do for a long time. Going with Tasmania Expeditions meant that we could as although we are reasonably fit we are in our 50's and walking in such an isolated area as only a couple we were concerned about safety issues if one of us was injured.... My brother and I decided to join the four day “Walls of Jerusalem Experience” during our 18 day visit to the east coast of Australia back in April of 2011. We looked on ine searching various outfitters and decided to go with TazEx because the level of challenge seemed decent, in a short amount of time and since we were... More

As a solo female bushwalker, with only those precious few weeks annual leave a year, Tas Ex was the perfect solution to my problem - How to escape to somewhere truly remote, for the adventure of a lifetime, with people whose idea of a holiday extended beyond lying on a beach?. I have done 3 trips with Tas Ex (... More

The trek up to the base camp at the Walls of Jerusalem isn't for the faint hearted. Make sure you do lots of training as suggested in the information provided by Tasmanian Expeditions before you go (unless you are super, super fit!). I did train and still found it heavy going. Once there, however, the hard trek fades into insignificance... More

I had an absolutely amazing time on the rafting trip over Christmas/New Year 2010!! What an incredible place, and what a wonderful wilderness experience. At the end of it, I just wanted to turn around and do it all over again!! I'm already looking into the next adventure ;-) The whole expedition was very well organised (in spite of a... More
