Definitely take the Beer Lover's tour - the tasting, where they give you three full glasses of beer paired with different Tasmanian cheese, is worth the extra!

The beer was never very good to begin with, and now lacks character altogether, though you might try their Wizard Smith's ale (which is actually more like a lager). There are one... More

We had a very enthusiastic guide and he made the tour fun. Safety is paramount and the company/family history museum upstairs is interesting.

We took the last tour of the day and all the machinery had shut down, workers standing around or cleaning which was not that interesting. Nice beer tasting afterwards, although you only get small glasses of three different Boags beers plus some local cheeses to clear the palate. Probably wont do it again.

Brett took us on a fabulous tour of the brewery, followed by a beer and cheese matching session. Just fabulous fun.

If you've got some time to kill, go do the tour. It wasn't spectacular, but it was informative and you can't really go wrong with the beer at the end of the tour. Pairing cheese with beer was a first for me.

A very interesting and enjoyable experience. Excellent tour guides. Beer samples at the end quite a treat.

If you like beer and you're in the Launceston you should definitely visit the brewery. Excellent beer with a funny tour guide explaining everything about how the beer is made and about the history of the company. The free museum is also nice but let's be honest it is about the beer tasting!

I loved the Boag's tour, especially trying three different cheeses with beer. The free museum was also very interesting
