Is an attraction all of our family members have visited for years. It is getting a little dated now, they have to take care not to rely on their reputation/history for business but update what they can. The Gardens are pretty but suited to a very sunny day, wouldn't want to walk them in the rain.

A wonderful way to spend a sunny day, wandering around the beautiful gardens.

We would go back and recommend for a visit, some of the exhibits are rather amusing and is in a lovely setting, a great place for the family and to have a laugh.

what a great sense of humour the person who designed this park had. Enjoyable for all ages. a leisurely stroll clockwise. dont go anti clockwise or you miss the fun. lots of picnic areas if needed. Dont miss it.

Ngatea's a definite stop. About an hour from Auckland; this small village has lots to offer. Ngatea Water Gardens is lovely; shouldn't be missed but don't forget the Gem Factory and the best new/used bookstore around - A-Z Books.
