Took this one day tour while traveling in Australia. Due to the boat being small it is easy to make your way around and cover all sides trying to spot the whales. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The weather was fantastic. And we did see whales for most of that day, but they were feeling lazy, so... More

This trip was incredible - Peter is very knowledgeable about the area and right out of the harbour the first thing we saw was a group of turtles. It just got better and better as the trip went on and the highlight was seeing a pod of 7 or 8 humpback dolphins who let us get close enough to watch... More

We've been out with Peter three times now in as many years and every trip has been fabulous. Always lovely people on board, always something new to see, always something to learn, yet we still get surprised by the close encounter at lunchtime! How do the whales know when you've put your camera down? Looking forward to next year already. More

Well the whales in Hervey Bay can be seen so up close and personal with Blue Dolphin. A nice family friendly crew, the new vessel is spacious and there is room for all! No elbows/heads etc in pictures its wonderful. As you are low to the water in this vessel you get a whales eye view :-D It almost feels... More

This trip was amazing, because the boat is smaller you can almost touch the whales, peter know so much about whales and is really patience, so you have all the time with the whales, we where lucky and saw 15 whales, they al came so close to the boat it was amazing! More

We had a fabulous day on Blue Dolphin. The crew was great and passionate about what they do. We saw whales closer than I thought was possible, you could smell their breath. It was perfect to be on a smaller boat without people standing on top of you for the whole day and to sit on the catamaran enjoying the... More

What a great day. We spent about 5 hours with the whales. It is amazing when you are told to look all around the boat as there are whales everywhere. One whale, "Trevor" came right up to the boat and blew out his blow hole and "snotted" the boat. The hospitality was second to know. The owners could not do... More

We had a great day. The boat was spacious and comfortable, the food terrific and most importantly we saw loads of whales up close. The last group of whales we saw was just when we should have been heading home but Peter had no problems hanging around and it was the best sights of the day. More
