The evening begins when you are collected from your hotel by coach, usually around 6pm, but this depends on the time of sunset. For the traveller, touring and sightseeing activities in Australia are generally not inexpensive, but this is prohibitive. I was there at the wrong time of year, when it is furnace hot, and flies are everywhere - avoid Feb/March. Attended Sounds of Silence Dinner in late November 2008. It was a perfect evening. Felt like we had won a "Survivor" challenge! Great sunset, champagne, company, etc. Did not have any problems as mentioned in a previous review with disorganization. Everything flowed perfectly.
