A gorgeous drive into the countryside around Ronda. You go through vineyards, sunflower plantations and pass Iberian blackfoot pigs. When you arrive at Acinipo, it may look like its closed, but the "guard" is probably sleeping in his little hut. He's obviously from the area and keeps his donkey, horse and baby mule on site. As a roman ruins go, these are not spectacular - there is an auditorium, part of the theatre wall and many piles of stones. It is not a must-see, but it was a beautiful location and an interesting stop on the way/from 'White Villages' or caves.

it was a pleasant walk there and also pleasant to look over the battlements. it is a work in progresss as the workes are fixing the place up so that it is more of an attraction.
