You are free to explore the facility at your leisure, which is nice. Follow the tracks of the matador, from the chapel into the ring. Get an understanding of what it was like to be the bull - that part was a little sad. The building itself is interesting, filled with history. The museum was educational. more

We had recently visited the Plaza de Toros in Sevilla, which included a guided tour, so I felt like we learned more there than we did here. Ronda lays claim to being the birthplace of bullfighting and it’s Plaza de Toros dates back to 1785. At the entrance there stands a particularly handsome and proud statue of “el toro”. While I am speaking from the standpoint of never having seen a Spanish bullring, this place should be in your intinerary. My husband and I went early Sept. We did not get the opportunity to see a fight, but found the museum and stadium itself worth the euros. more

The Plaza de Toros is an active bullfighting ring with much history attached to it. Entrance was very inexpensive – just a few euros per person.
