Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Blaise and Michael went out of their way to make sure our family had everything we needed: bikes, repair kit, extra tire tube, helmets, reflective jackets, a good map and advice. Even though we had very good bicycles at home, we found theirs to be well-tuned and a lot easier than hauling our own from Canada to Ireland.

Some friends and I recently rented bicycles from Cycle Inishowen for a week. The service we received was above and beyond what we expected including personal delivery of all the gear to our accommodations. Everything we needed was supplied and as much information as we wanted was available from the friendly, helpful owners. A great way to see this beautiful part of Ireland and a great place to rent from!

My husband and I biked a 400 mile loop in Donegal starting in Derry and biked along the coast. We rented the bikes from Cycle Inishowan and were very pleased with the bikes, and Michael was very easy to work with. He delivered the bikes to us in Derry and retrieved them at the end of the trip. We had no problems whatsoever with the bikes. They had new tires and shifted perfectly (which was very necessary in hilly Donegal. We loved not having to bring our own bikes on the plane from America, but still have good bikes to your Ireland.

The Inishowen area is perfect for biking. Not too much traffic and roads are mostly flat with minor inclines here and there. Oggy was great and gave us two well-maintained and easy to ride bikes. Oggy's shop is just off the main square and is down a small alley - Google Maps got the location perfect. Highly recommended.

We are regular cyclists but were holidaying with two less frequent cyclists. The bikes we hired suited us all and we were able to borrow helmets, jackets and maps as part of the package. Very friendly , flexiible service.

We did a tour with Blaise around Malin Head. Absolutely beautiful and Blaise was filled with great local knowledge. The bikes were excellent as were the jackets. Blaise and Oggie run a terrific business!

We were recommended this establishment by our host, and we were not disappointed. The proprietor (Oggie?) was thoughtful and efficient. He was relaxed, but professional. The bikes worked very well. He sent us out with extra tubes & a pump - and good directions for a marvelous long ride. Take the ride to Malin Head if you are reasonably fit, but be aware that it really is about a five hour ride if you're going to enjoy the beautiful places you pass by. Make time for the scone shop on the trip there - and walking around the "head" - the Hell Hole, etc.

Cycle inishowen are a great company. Our bikes were dropped to our cottage along with maps, safety gear and any accessories that we needed.

I hadn't cycled in years but had an amazing time, the roads are quiet and the views are amazing!

I would recommend this to anyone of any age or fitness. We rented for two days and the cost was really reasonable. We were given advice on routes.

Don't go to Donegal and stay in your car! These guys are amazing !

My boyfriend & I while on holiday in Inishowen decided we'd like to hire bikes a day & go cycling. So we came on Cycle Inishowen & Blaise & Augie were brilliant. So friendly & helpful. They sorted us with bikes & helmets & recommended routes to go gave us a map. We had a great mornings cycling & discovering more of beautiful Inishowen. We'd definitely love to do this again. Such a lovely way of seeing the countryside.

Had a great day out cycling around the Inishowen Coast. Only got wet once which didn't matter at all. Bikes were very good and the route was not too tough. Enjoyed the craic, the amazing views and the lovely lunch. Would definitely recommend this for a day out.
