This was my second time in the old city center. I brought family with and we were able to enjoy much of the cities shops, and food. As citizen of Czech Republic I was absolutely suprised by the beuaty of this castle. It's upon the river Vltava and view from the castle to the city is astonishing. Guided tours are very well presented and the castle has a lot of monuments behind its walls. I strongly recommend as well as families with children. more

You can see heaps of reviews and pictures on the Internet, just be aware that as many of other things/shops etc in central and eastern Europe this castle was at our visit closed on Mondays.
