My husband and I were looking forward to our ghost walk around the old town. After meeting our guide outside the astronomical clock, we were then led off the main square to the company offices. We waited around while they took the tickets and sorted out the rest of the people for the tour. I didn’t really appreciate all the... More

Dear Elaine M, Firstly, on behalf of McGee’s Ghost Tours, let me say that I’m very sorry you and your husband didn’t enjoy the tour. You haven’t mentioned the date on which you took the tour but you might have experienced the aftermath of the Czech Republic v Slovakia hockey game, which caused exceptional disruption to the Old Town area,... I don't believe in ghosts (I still don't after going) but this was a very entertaining walk with a great guide who told "ghostly" stories of Prague's past. Was nice to walk around the city at night and have a bit of a tour alongside the stories. Don't take it too seriously and you will enjoy it!

The guide in the tour forgot there are people around him, and talked like he is alone... We could not understand half of what he said. There was nothing scary about this tour, and most of the stories you can hear for free in the different morning Free tours in the area. Definitely would not put my money on this... More

Our only regret was that we didn't take the tour when we arrived at Old Town, versus on our second to last day. Jeremiah did an outstanding job taking us to various locations linked to ghost stories and then the underground tour (after dark) complete with lanterns. This tour company clearly has perfectionists at multiple levels (content, training, research, etc.).... More

The 3 hour after dark tour of the Prague Castle compound is well worth the time. We were lucky enough to have Jessica as our guide. She provided a wealth of history and anecdotes all of which were presented in an interesting and often amusing fashion. One of the best things about the tour is that aside from a few... More

Good fun tour with lots of history and humour thrown in, guide was lovely and photos are highly recommended! I'm a paranormal believer and got some very odd things come out in my photos.

We took this guided tour on Sunday to see some of the sights off the beaten tourist track in the old town. Part of the attraction was the response on Trip Advisor to an American customer who complained the tour wasn't theatrical enough - we didn't want cheap tricks, just an intelligent introduction to the more grisly side if the... If you are in Prague and would like an insight into the city's dark past then this is a must do tour! Excellent guides give you a chilling account of some of the barbaric acts carried out in this city throughout history. Very atmospheric and the tour in the catacombs under the Old Town Square will put a shiver up... More

Had a great time. I wasn't going to do the ghost tour but my seven year old Son really wanted to check it out, along with the tour of the catacombs. So, the next thing I knew I was on the tour with my Son. We ended up having a blast and he doesn't stop talking about it. My poor... More

This was a great tour. We learned quite a bit. The meeting location was really hard to find, that was a concern. We ended up following a completely different tour guide from another company for the first 20 minutes, whoops. Simon, our guide (once we found him) was great and informative. The best bit about the tour is when they... More
