A moving tribute to the Czechoslovak parachutists who assasinated Heydrich. Outside you can see where the fire brigade were forced to put their hoses into the crypt. The church wall is scarred with bullet holes. Inside, the museum gives a detailed account of Operation Anthropoid, the context of the Nazi occupation and the bloody reprisals. The crypt is especially sobering... More

I would like to tribute to the authors of this exposition. It is thoughtful, delicate, made us to think about the strenth of our minds. And after visiting the exposition, you will bow also to the heroes, who died there. Seven courageous men, who fought against nazis and two of them - Kubis and Gabcik assassinated the protektor Heydrich. Exposition... More

So how can I not rate it anything but, excellent. Seriously, worth a look at the display of the events surrounding the Czechs who parachuted into the country when the Nazis were occupying to assassinate Heydrich. If you're short for time, better to pass on this one.

On an early Sunday morning walk we visited the church as the orthodox priest was arriving and preparations were underway for the services. We are always very interested in the history of the places we visit, and particularly this period in history, so we returned to visit the museum in the crypt shortly after 9am. We were the only ones... More

Finding and getting to this church/museum will require a bit of an effort but it was well worth it to me. This place is a must for anyone that has a love or at least a fascination with history. I don't know that I want to provide too many specific details about this attraction because I think it is best... More

Maybe I chose the wrong day - it was a Wednesday. Streetscape value for sure, but no idea what the interior is like.

The museum here was not quite what I expected. It is obvious they subscribe to the new theory of museums that are long on text and short on artifacts. Still worth a visit though.

This was top of my to do list. These brave men were not religious martyrs, they were martyrs for not only their people, but for all free thinking peoples and for all persecuted peoples of the world. left feeling very humble.

The church itself is nice, but not grand by Prague standards. When we visited (it's free, BTW), there was a baptism going on, so we just briefly glanced around. The crypt (not free), beneath the church, is the real draw. The story of the WWII anti-Nazi paratroopers, hidden by the church after their assassination of the top local Nazi, and... More

Anyone who visits Prague and is interested in its recent history would do well to visit the small museum that has been set up in the crypt of this church. The church was made famous during World War Two by becoming the last refuge of those Czech resistance fighters who were involved in the assassination in May 1942 of Reinhard... More
