I love old libraries and always try and visit them when I am in a city. What a rip-off - 150 korunas to visit the mirror chapel (we were whizzed through in order to join the tour) and then a 10 minute explanation in a stairwell, culminating in a jostling, pushing, irritated moment when the doors to the library are... We visited the national library with zero expectation, and we took the tour to see the baroque library. It costs 100kc a person, or 50kc for students. It's a 15 minute tour, with the main highlight of course being the age old library. The library is a wonder. It's a time machine. It's worth seeing. No restoration has been made... More

The visit to the Klementinum was quite dissapointing, as the ticket (4€) was suppose to grant u access to the library, the astronomical tower and the mirror chapel. Well, the mirror chapel was close to public due to some weddings, the astronomical tower was also close due to restauration works, and the library could not be visited in the inside... More

We actually accidentally stumbled onto this place and was very glad that we did. The Mirror Chapel and Baroque Library Hall was really beautiful. Would have been wonderful if we could have walked into the Library, understandably (to guard the precious books) you can only view it from one little corner. If you are in a big tour group, I... We had to join a tour group and ended up in the last group for the day. It cost like 100 CZK and they gave us a magnet souvenir in the beginning. I had some difficulty listening to the guide, since she had a very thick accent. We had a short tour and we actually didn't see much. The tour... More

suitable for those who appreciate listening to classical music - live. We had one hour listening to the likes of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Mozart etc. A trip to Prague wouldn't be complete without experiencing some of its culture and home to works of many great composers in history ;-)

There are many offers for classical concerts in Prague, but the Mirror Hall in the Klementinium must be the best. Intimate and grand, with excellent acoustics. We paid 400 each and feel it money well spent!
