I had been struggling to find a mobility scooter for a friend of mine who unfortunately had a leg injury only a few weeks before our friends stag party. I found Lea via google search, sent an email and had an informative and helpful reply very quickly. Lea made the process incredibly straight-forward and accommodated for all of our needs. The responses were always quick, helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lea and was thoroughly impressed with the service received from start to finish.

This scooter trip was the highlight of our trip - my dad loved it. He often feels he is holding people up but this time we could all be together. Eva, our guide, was really informative and she had a great sense of humour too which made it lovely. We spoke to Lea about whether it would be suitable for 2 kids aged 5, 7 to come too and she organised some little quizzes and rewards to keep them entertained - so they were engaged the whole time too - . If we ever come back to Prague we will get in touch with you! You really are providing a great service.

Discovering Lea and her wonderfully knowledgeable guides Maketa and Leda, opened up Prague to my post stroke husband, without which we would have been hotel-bound. The guides were gentle and understanding, and it was just perfect having a one-on-one guide rather than being in a group with a lollypop lady!!! The pre-Prague communication, the daily arrangements, the scooter and its specialized transportation were all absolutely perfect, and your pricing was so reasonable for the service you provided. We cannot thank you enough!

Lea Skanderova has pioneered a service for the less mobile. This service made my stay in Prague as meaningful as it might have been a few years ago when I was not limited. We booked easily via email and Lea responded immediately while on vacation in Greece. Our tour guide, Lida, was a delightful and knowledgeable hostess especially about Jewish history which was the essence of our tour in the Old Town. There was never a moment that felt like she was scripted. Always fresh and enthusiastic. She also took great care for our safety. I am grateful to have discovered this enabling service.

Thanks to Lea who was most responsive to my 100 questions before I landed in Prague. The mobility scooter was very easy to use and we could properly enjoy Prague in all its beauty. Lea is doing a great service by helping people with mobility issues to see the gorgeous Prague.

Finding this company when we were visiting Prague last month made touring the city with 3 able bodied adults and 1 adult with an Achilles heel issue a possibility. Not only was the mobility scooter appreciated (the adult that needed it LOVED it) but our guide Marketa was fabulous at explaining the city's history as well as its current situations in an informative and interesting way. She kept us moving but let us take a break when we needed it, bringing us to a cafe with wonderful pastries, sandwiches and a Gelato stand where we all refueled before completing the remainder of the tour. Lea made it very easy to arrange our tour on short notice and was totally pleasant in our communications. It would be wonderful if there were tour companies like this in all cities that get lots of visiting tourists!

We were in Prague in August and the highlight was a 4-hour tour with 2 of us in mobility scooters and 2 of us walking. The scooters behaved very well on the sometimes narrow cobblestone streets. Lenka, our guide, was very informative and good-natured. The price is quite reasonable, too. I would recommend this to all.

It was my first time travelling to Prague with my sister who has mobility issues. we went on a 3 night city break. I would highly recommend Access Prague. Lea supplied us with a wheelchair that was at our hotel when we arrived. The next day we went on the Prague by mobility scooters and on foot tour. Our tour guide was Lina who was so knowledgeable and such pleasant company for the 4 hour tour. The scooter was so comfortable for my sister to get around the cobbled streets, we hired it for the duration of our trip. Thank you for making our trip stress free. You offer a much needed service.

Found Lea through TA reviews, and she responded promptly by email following my enquiry. I cannot walk very far and needed a scooter to help explore Prague for our long weekend. Lea was happy to supply this and the scooter was waiting for me at our hotel! The following day I had arranged through Lea to be given a private tour by Lida, who came to our hotel right on time. Lida was great - very friendly, spoke English brilliantly and had as great sense of humour! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, which was over all too soon. Lida left us with recommendations of places to visit during the rest of our stay too. Would HIGHLY recommend Lea and Lida - they helped make our stay in Prague a great one! Thanks again ladies!

I went to Prague to join in the Xmas markets; probably the most crowded time of year.
I pre-booked a large mobility scooter from "Accessible Prague" before I left the UK. It was easy and the lady I dealt with - Lea - quite charming and helpful.
My hotel Leon D'Oro were quite happy to look after the scooter in their reception before I arrived, overnight and after I left.
Prague old town where the markets are is 90% cobble stones, yet this was not a problem as the pavements and pedestrian areas (most of the area) are flat and smooth. There are no hills to worry about. Every junction has dropped kerbs.
I also took the scooter into their shopping precinct "Palladium" and had no trouble with lifts and table at a coffee shop.
Further still, I went on a river cruise for lunch and the crew were mindful and helpful although I had to leave the scooter on the quayside.
The crowds of people gave me the impression that many had not seen a mobility scooter before as it drew attention from some and they were not used to the "etiquet" of giving way, so I tended to give way to people in the crowds more.
Overall, getting around the old town, in and out of shops and attractions was easy.
I may return next year too !

Do you have a listing of Prague by Mobility Scooters tour offerings, as well as their individual costs? Can you contact them from the USA prior to going in Sept. 2018, and pay in advance, or do you have to wait until you are actually in Prague? Can they pick you up at your own hotel or do you need to meet them at Hotel Yasmin? Thanks you for your kind assistance in this matter!

Look on trip advisor. That is where my wife found. I’ll get later today. You can reserve in advance and pick up in old town at a hotel. Makes Prague so much more accessible. Look at my previous answers for name of a great local guide. Also get Rick Steves guidebook of Prague - Czech Republic.

If you google Prague mobility Lea website is very helpful. I also know the Betterlife sell lightweight wheelchairs which fold down into a hold-all bag I have now bought one and it’s excellent for cruises

I was wondering if you have scooters that accommodate 2 people, my mom might be hesitant about operating one on her own. We will surely be using your services when we visit next May/June.
Thanks, Maureen

Hi,
I will be visiting Prague next May 28, 29 and 30th before embarking on our river cruise. My mother has difficulty walking any distance but is hesitant about operating a scooter. Do you happen to have scooters that accommodate 2 people? We have a very light weight transport chair but I'm not sure it would be ok one the cobblestone roads.
Thank you,
Maureen,

You will definitely want a heavy duty scooter on cobblestones. In Prague, even some sidewalks are cobblestone-type, though with smaller stones, and still rough. Talk to the folks at accessibleprague about renting a scooter for your visit. They pick up and deliver to you hotel and can arrange for transport to distant sites if needed. Lea Skanderova is very helpful and a joy to work with.

Is it possible to hire mobility scooters in Prague which would be suitable for the cobbled streets. We take our lightweight Luggie travel scooters in our world travels but doubt they would be suitable In Prague.

The company Accessible Prague is very good. They will arrange for the hire of substantial 'cobble-proof' mobility scooters as well as offering sightseeing tours that are specially designed for the scooters. (Avoiding steps and high kerbs etc)
