Every time, we are in Prague center, we walk there. It is nice walk from National Museum down the square. The shops there are little overpriced, but that is expected. We never bought anything here. You will probably find shops with russian dolls or CCCP hats. What a souvenir from Prague! Anyway, this square is nice historic site, definitely worth... More

With the Wenceslas monument, this is the place where lots of people meet, boulevard where all the demonstrations and celebrations are taking part. Has its history definitively.

Is just a big square, nothing to see. We only went there on the way to see the Nationale-Nederlanden (Dancing house).

Every city needs a place where winos, beggars, down-and-outs and other shady characters living on society's fringes can congregrate and enjoy a chat and a litre or three of cheap cider - Wenceslas Square provides it for Prague. And the shopping is virtually non-existent. Go once if you don't believe me. I guarantee you won't go a second time.

Awesome view. You can see down the bullevard and the statue is fitting into the environment. This view illustrates how crowded the city is.

It is huge and you can loose the feeling of it being a square mainly because of the traffic. But it is a pleasant view! The square hosts a lot of UK brands (M&S and Tesco to name a couple) so it is where the trade happens. There are restaurants and casinos all over! Restaurant close early around the square!... More

The title says it all :-) There was a free concert on the end furthest away from the national museum... lots of shops (C&A, H&M, addidas, Bata, etc). Toursity prague is rather small, and this street within walking distance from everything.

Unlike Old Towne Square, which can loosely be described as a pedestrian only square, Wenceslas Square is more like a rectangle or if you include Na Prikope and Narodni, it can be described as a "T" where cars can drive on (especially during huge city celebrations like winning the World Cup). But seriously, Wenceslas Square is hugely popular among tourists... More

A great place to start & end your day. It's a hub for shopping, people watching, eating or grabbing some groceries. Close to all attractions, easy walking distance to Old Town Square & has a Tourist Info Centre & kiosks for tour groups that provide day trips to attractions outside of the city.

Wenceslas Square in a place with a great history and several interesting buildings. Unfortunately it is full of drug dealers, prostitutes and pimps. Magistrate turned a blind eye on it.
