Absolutely beautiful example of Gothic architecture. The stained glass windows were the most beautiful I have ever seen. Pay to walk to the top of the South tower. The views are breathtaking.

Spectacular on the outside and just as good inside too. We spent sometime within the building and were impressed by its size. Try to go outside normal tourist times as it gets very busy with organised tours.

Very impressive cathedral, especially so the stained glass windows. It was quite crowded, and there's a set route to take through it, so there was always the pressure to move on. Beautiful, although if you've seen a few catholic cathedrals, there won't really be anything new here.

We've been here twice. The first time we walked up, this time we took the tram. If you have time, walk up. The views are spectaculary. The inside of the cathedral can be seen without buying a ticket. A ticket will allow you to see more but no sure if it is worth it.

While there were lots of people, the crowds were able to move along fairly well taking in the glory and history, of the many works of powerful Christian art throughout the spacious cathedral.

St. Vitus Cathedral is without a doubt the best part of the Prague Castle tour and has the most beautiful stained glass windows you'll ever see.
