I've been to many zoos due to the fact my 7 year old son loves all animals ( hint my tripadvisor handle). The kids loved the zoo but I was disappointed by the poor landscaping and some dirty and smallish enclosures. There are no maps, signs or menus in any other language other than Czech. We took our six year old to Prague for the February Half term (2008) and spent one of our best days at the zoo. Travel to the zoo from the centre of Prague cost 26Kc each way for the adults (about 80p) on a combination of tram (No 5) and Bus (No 112). The zoo is exceptionally well laid out... more

On a very warm day in early ctober2003, we 3 adults visitedPrague zoo. A yeaar after the devastating floods, most of the animals were back in secure housing in large runs.
