Most Synagogues place a much lower emphasis on beauty compared to churches, and are typically not very interesting visually. This one, however, is truly striking, with intricate detail everywhere, done in the Moorish style. Inside there's also a small exhibition with explanations of the history of the Jews in Bohemia, with documents and books from various periods - very interesting.

Don't miss this. The interiors are spectacular and were an interesting contrast to the other synagogues in the Jewish Quarter we toured. The history display on the second floor is fascinating and tragic.

This is the most beautiful synagogue in Prague. Buy a combined ticket for the synagogues and the Jewish museum. If you have little time and have to choose between, visit Spanish Synagogue. It is a pity that they do not let to take photos in any of these places.

Great atmosphere and luxurious interior. Very interesting history. We really injoyed the combination of classical music and opera withing the walls of this synagogue.

The view from the top alone is worth it. The history and beauty is amazing.

Went in the evening to a hear a concert. Three violins, a cello, double base and trumpet, playing tunes from the best american musicals. The designs on the wall are beautiful, and like many building in Prague a lot older than many other "occupied" cities.

Amazing interior, so intricate and stunning! Colors are fantastic, too bad you can't take photos inside. Also lovely historical artifacts for viewing.

This synagogue is beautiful on the inside and the upstairs has an exhibit on the History of the Jewish community in the Czech Republic with English signs.
