A lot has been said about this sight and it's definitely a must-see when in Prague. Moreover, it's not an overly touristic place because it's hard to include in Japanization. We were lucky to be able to enjoy the tower on a wonderful day, hardly a cloud in the sky so we had a great view. It's true that the... More

The climb isn't too exhausting and the view is fantastic. Although it doesn't hold a candle compared to Eiffel Tower, it is worth a visit. It is actually a little shaky up top but safe.

it seemed that the tower was shaking a little bit when we got to the top. but the views are really nice. it can also be a good point to see where you should go next if you are just walking around without the actual plan. and for me it doesn't resemble eiffel tower that much (: used the elevator,... Over 200 steps or take the elevator. Observation deck a third of the way up and at the top. The views at the top are spectacular. Have a beer or coffee in the cafe after, then walk the gardens north toward Strahov Monastery. Many beautiful views on that walk.

The views at the top of Petrin Tower are really good. There is a choice of using the lift (for extra money) or the stairs to reach the top. The lift only holds about 4 people so on a busy day it could potentially cause some wait before you get to go up, and it may be quicker to use... More

Worth the climb. If you cannot climb, then for a slightly more fee, you can use the lift. The views are breathtaking. On a clear day, you can even see people moving in masses across the Charles Bridge :)

Superb views (but better from the i-deck as no glass to get in the way), nice engineering. Good value for money.

Good view around the city. You can see all the churches around the city sparkling in the sun.

We visited the Monastery first, and as we saw Prague castle in the distance, we thought it would be nice to take a stroll on the hill first. It's not too difficult, nothing a pair of young legs can't handle. But I would really recommend you to do this on a clear day. It's much nicer and the view is... More

Allegedly this is a fifth of the size of Eiffel Tower but it is clearly visible from all over Prague so imagine that it is bigger than it is. When you're actually standing in front of it, it's deceptively small. It is still big enough to big a very lofty view over the entire city giving some excellent opportunities for... More
