We visited this observatory in Fall 2011, when it was a clear sky. It's very cheap to visit and great to take kids to look at the sky. You will be given excellent introduction to night sky by enthusiastic staff. Kids friendly, English commentary available. Staff will answer all your questions you may have. We just happened to cross this observatory while walking around on top of Petrin Hill. I am now so pleased we found this little attraction, you have the opportunity to look through the telescopes and they tell you about them and how they work. Don't miss the observatory! It's small, antique, and a lot of fun. When you take the funicular to the top of Petrin Hill, you'll ask yourself what you should do next.
