Really peaceful quarter makes for a nice uphill walk through the lovely Jewish Quarter up towards the old cemetery. It is nice and quiet and the cemetery takes your breath away and makes you stop and think about many losses during the Second World War. “Catholics and Jews peacefull together, in a unescotown”

In this town, catholics and jews were living together in peace for centuries, til Worldwar 2 has made an end on this. You can make a walk through the Jewish Quarter, visiting a synagogue, take a look on the jewish graveyard, and visit the Basilica, all in perfect condition.
