First, go to Ostrava, a former industrial capital of Morava. Second, go to Stodolni, a street in the city centre of Ostrava - possibly, on Friday or Saturday night (I recommend - after 10 P.M.) Third, go to Koxovnia - always my favourite starting point (and sometimes the last lap, too). And then - let yourself sink in a sea... more

Very cool area to hang out at. I was there beginning of August 2007. Lots of places to eat and drink and party. Great prices, great food. more

Czech republic. I was there in May , 2005. Ostrava My travel buddy and i spent the night in that area ( Stoldoni )after securing accomodations at a nearby hostel (3 blocks away) for the equivalent of $28 CDN for the two of us. CHEAP - that was our most expensive. hostels and pensions around the republic can be had... more
