We loved climbing the tower of St Mary church. It's well worth 410 steps and gives you a decent workout. The view is great on a nice day. Very recommended.

The interior was very rich and superb. You can climb the tower for a few more Zlotys and see the awesome view of the town. The way up to the tower are not made for claustrophobic though, some part of it were dark and shallow. The way up is very high so bring your own water.

It is te biggest church in the world built of bricks. If You will get to the top of the tower You have incredible view to the Gdansk and whole old town

If you are looking for WOW factor - this is it. Standing in proud position like a mother hen clutching everything beneath her - this Church I believe is the largest of its kind in Europe. Inside is somewhat jaw dropping.

Must see in Gdansk. Appreciate the beauty of the church and later take in the view from the tallest tower.
