Auschwitz is definitely something that needs to be seen to appreciate the scale of the tragedy that occurred. The only real negative I found was that there were so many tourists that it did kind of take away some of the solemnity of the place.

A guided tour was included in the admission fee, The museum guides are very knowledgable and many speak several languages. Visitors should be prepared to be deeply emotionally affected by Auschwitz but it is still not to be missed. Anyone interested in this area of the history of the 20th century should definitely go there.
this place is very well known if you intressted in II world war or XX century history you must visit this place

It is really amazing and awful all the different situations which happened there. It is not a nice visit but is a visit which you have to do if you are near because it is the testimony of one of the worst human being behavior within XX century.

I was unsure whether I wanted to go on this trip as thought it would be upsetting but I now think everyone should experience it as a warning to what humanity is capable of. The tour was very well done, sensitive and moving mainly down to the guide who was excellent. The place speaks for itself. It isn't just what...
