We could have skipped the cloth hall, but the square itself was lovely. Great people watching, clean, eateries. We enjoyed a piwo several times, sitting at one of the many outside establishments. We loved the Rynek Glowny, and found ourselves passing through it several times daily, it is very central. We also enjoyed all the outdoor cafes that ring the massive square. The market square was beautiful. It was very large with the the cloth market in the centre. Restaurants, shops and churches line the square and stalls selling flowers and musicians give the square a nice feel. But go to Maly Rynek, it is 100yards from the Main square and quieter, more romatic, etc. Bascially walk along the left side of the HUGE St Marys Church for about 100-200 yards and it is on your right.
